In addition to the sustainability charter, Esch2022 has developed various activities to raise awareness among young and old about the need to save the planet. One fun example for the whole family to play is the escape game set up in the Massenoire space in Belval throughout the ECoC year of culture. The game, which was developed by the University of Rotterdam and adapted for Esch2022, is inspired by the SDG 12 (Sustainable Development Goal12) and is based on 20 analogue and digital riddles to be solved by the players on the themes of overconsumption and overproduction.
